I grew up in Rochester, New York, attended Villanova University, and received my MA from the City College of New York. My stories have appeared regularly in literary journals and anthologies. My fist published novel, The Book of Ash (October, 2013), a dystopic comedy, was described by one reviewer as, “1984 meets Fight Club.”
More recently, Vine Leave Press has published two collections of my short stories – Two Syllable Men (April 2016), and What’s Wrong With This Picture? (2019).
I also help to direct a nonprofit organization in New York City, teach creative writing, and am a columnist for The Good Men Project.
